Wilkommen in die Deutscher Blög!
HOLLAHOLLAHOLLAHOLLAHOLLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, ladies and gentlemen, Sir Kem XIV has returned at last (with a fresh new name)! Now this pitiful Blog can finally have some flavour once again! I must say I'm dissappointed with the last few posts I've read. The German Collier's magazine (known here as Die Zeitschrift des Kolliers) has ranked this Blog as one of the least interesting Blogs on the Internet AND the Outernet!
Well, I guess I should explain why it's taken so fucking long for me to finally post a Blog. (Luke, I thought you were going to come here if I didn't post by the first Wednesday?). The reason is simple: Die Deutscher Post is the worst fucking Post office in the world. And T-Mobile (known here as T-Punkt) is the worst fucking phone company in the world. The second day I was here me and the two other American students went into T-Punkt and made an appointment for a phone line and a DSL connection to be made. The earliest appointment I could get was for the following Wednesday. That day came, but the guy didn't show up, so I went back to T-Punk and yelled at them and they made an appointment for the next day. The guy didn't come then either, so I went back to T-Punkt and yelled at them and they made and appointment for the next day. Then the guy finally came and I got a phone-line, but to get the internett you need a Splitter, which had not yet arrived although it's supposed to come a day before your appointment or on the same day. So we all went to T-Punkt and yelled at them and they said it should come by the weekend. But it didn't come so on Monday the 3 of us went all over Frankfurt to try and find the post office where this shit was being held. We finally found out that there's a post office right down the street from us, where they'd had our splitters since THURSDAY and just never bothered to deliver them. (The next day we got a card saying they had our packages at the post office). So we were overjoyed and happy and we hooked up our modems with the splitters but guess what? You need a username and password to get connected, and because of security reasons they need to mail this separately. And this hadn't come. So we went to T-Punkt and yelled at them and they said they didn't know why it hadn't come but they would re-send it. 3 days later it still hadn't come so we went to the post office and they said they didn't have it and we had to go back to T-Punkt. So we went back to T-Punkt and yelled at them and they said they didn't know why it hadn't come but they would re-send it. 3 days later ONE of us got it but the other 2 still didn't, so I went to the post office and they said they didn't have it and I'd have to go to T-Punkt. So I went to T-Punkt and yelled at them and told them that maybe the problem was they didn't have my room number at the Dorm I'm living in. It turned out that the people who were supposed to be delivering it didn't even know the address was a dorm, and they didn't have my room number but I gave it to them and they said they would re-send it AGAIN. 3 days later it was today, and it came and now I'm fucking Blogging!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So if anyone ever tells you anything about German Efficiency, you should spit in their face. I intend to write a long letter to Kolliars venting my frustration.
I don't like writing gargantuan posts so I'll update you on my other adventures in meine nachste post............................
